App Store and Google Play ratings
On the App Store, Positive Singles®: Herpes Date holds 4.3 out of 5 from 7,576 ratings, read September 22, 2026. On Google Play, the same app shows 3.5 out of 5 from 3,652 reviews and 500K+ downloads, read September 22, 2026. The App Store has both the higher score and the larger number of ratings. Google Play’s downloads figure is a different measure entirely, installs rather than ratings, and isn’t a stand-in for how many people rated the app.
App prices versus website prices

Per month, that puts the website at $29.95, $19.98 and $15.99 for one, three and six months. Only the app’s three totals were read for this page, so no per-month figures are given for the app here. The website is cheaper at every length regardless, and the gap in dollars grows as the term gets longer.
What actually differs from the website
A plan bought inside the app is managed through Apple or Google, not through PositiveSingles directly. PositiveSingles’ Help and FAQ is direct about it: When paying by Google Play or the Apple App Store, please note that you’ll also have to stop your subscription through Google and / or Apple.
Turning off auto-renewal on the website, covered on the customer service page, does nothing to a plan billed that way.
What shows up on a statement depends on how you pay, not on which interface you signed up through. PositiveSingles’ Help and FAQ, last updated April 23, 2026, is specific: If you pay with a credit or debit card, check card, or PayPal, the charge will appear as SuccessfulMatch.
Google Pay is the one exception: If you pay with Google Pay, the charge will appear as PositiveSingles.
None of this splits the account in two. PositiveSingles’ own login guide describes moving between the website and the app this way: Logging in through the PS dating app offers an additional avenue for accessing your account, providing convenience and flexibility.

Discretion
What this page can say about discretion is limited to what the store listings and Settings actually show. Both listings carry the same name, Positive Singles®: Herpes Date, exactly as the App Store and Google Play print it; what a home screen icon looks like or what a lock screen notification shows isn’t covered by any source read for this page, so this page doesn’t guess at either. Settings, read in the member area on the website, lists Email Notifications and In-App Notifications as separate entries.
Which to use
Buy the plan on the website regardless of where you’ll use the app afterward. The price gap in the table above is real money for no extra feature, and nothing about which interface you open later is tied to how you paid. Once a plan is active, sign in on whichever screen is in front of you, the app on a phone or the website on a laptop, and switch freely between them; the account and the messages are the same either way.
